Penta Infra has acquired a data center in Munich, Germany, with plans to modernize and expand it into a 20MW colocation facility by 2028. The upgraded site will offer flexible deployment options, including high-density colocation with liquid cooling, and will utilize its waste heat for local heating networks and incorporate on-site solar panels.

This acquisition marks Penta Infra's first facility in Munich, complementing its existing sites in Berlin, Leipzig, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Cologne. The investment aims to enhance Penta Infra's growth and establish a leading pan-European colocation platform, capitalizing on Munich's strong enterprise demand and technology ecosystem.
