Peru Signs Agreement to Enhance Water and Health Projects in Lambayeque
Peru's government has signed an agreement with regional authorities to enhance potable water and health infrastructure in Lambayeque. This initiative, involving Proinversion, aims to advance seawater desalination and improve wastewater treatment services.

An agreement has been established between Proinversion and authorities in Lambayeque to advance potable water projects and improve health services. The contract delegates powers to Proinversion for seawater desalination and wastewater treatment expansions in Lambayeque province and Chiclayo.
It also includes funding for technical studies related to a High-Complexity Hospital project. President Balcazar reaffirmed his commitment to regional development, indicating that similar projects will be pursued in road infrastructure. The event took place at the Government Palace in Lima with regional officials in attendance.
