Peruvian Metals Corp. processed 9,212 metric tonnes at its Aguila Norte plant in Q1 2026, marking a production increase from 9,168 metric tonnes in Q1 2025. The company secured surface rights for another 10 years and is conducting equipment upgrades funded by cash flow from operations.
The Aguila Norte plant, operated by Minera Aguila de Oro S.A.C, holds a concession of 120 hectares and has additional contiguous areas for future permitting. Recent sampling indicated significant copper and gold mineralization, with assay results revealing up to 3.15% soluble copper and 1.13 grams Au/mt. Continued exploration of these findings may enhance production capabilities.
