PFC Consulting has announced a tender for the establishment of a 400 kV intrastate transmission system in Thane, Maharashtra, aimed at evacuating 2.7 GW of pumped storage capacity. The project includes tasks such as project management, financing, and construction, with bids due by June 2, 2026.
Successful bidders are required to provide a performance guarantee of ₹14 million (~$149,114) within ten days of contract issuance. The project completion deadline is set for two years post-award. This initiative addresses the growing power demand in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region by enhancing transmission infrastructure.
