pH7 Technologies Secures $4M for Vancouver PGM Facility Expansion
pH7 Technologies is expanding its Vancouver facility to enhance platinum group metals recovery, supported by $4M from NRC IRAP. The funding will advance metallurgical processing technologies and develop organo-electrochemical processes for extracting platinum, palladium, and rhodium from secondary materials. This initiative aligns with Canada's Critical Minerals Strategy to boost domestic processing capacity while minimizing environmental impacts.

pH7 Technologies is expanding its Vancouver metals processing facility to enhance recovery of platinum group metals (PGMs), backed by $4 million from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). The funding will support the development of proprietary metallurgical processing technologies and organo-electrochemical processes for extracting PGMs from secondary materials.
The expansion aims to increase domestic processing capacity and reduce environmental impacts, aligning with Canada's Critical Minerals Strategy. The project will focus on engineering, process optimization, and plant development to improve resource efficiency and environmental performance.
