PhotonIC Launches PHPM1108 Multi-Channel IDAC for AI Optical Modules at OFC 2026
PhotonIC Technologies has announced the launch of the PHPM1108, a multi-channel current digital-to-analog converter specifically designed for External Laser Small Form-Factor Pluggable modules utilized in AI Data Centers. The IDAC features high Power Supply Rejection Ratio and low noise performance, optimizing power consumption and thermal design in optical communication systems. The product will be showcased at OFC 2026 in Los Angeles from March 17-19.

PhotonIC Technologies has introduced the PHPM1108, a next-generation multi-channel IDAC for External Laser Small Form-Factor Pluggable modules in AI Data Centers. The device offers high Power Supply Rejection Ratio and low noise, crucial for delivering clean optical output while minimizing power consumption.
It supports configurations of one to eight channels for various CW-laser applications. Additionally, PhotonIC will present several other products at OFC 2026, including 4×100Gb VCSEL transmitter chipsets, 1×25G and 4×25G CMOS solutions, and low-power IDAC chips, with some in mass production.
