Piedmont Region Showcases Aerospace Ecosystem at Farnborough Airshow 2026
Piedmont is presenting 16 SMEs and a robust aerospace ecosystem valued at €8 billion at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026. This participation aims to solidify the region's status as a European aerospace innovation hub, attracting international investment and collaboration in technologies such as AI and sustainable propulsion.

The Farnborough International Airshow 2026 features a significant representation from the Piedmont region, showcasing a mature aerospace sector with an €8 billion turnover and 35,000 skilled workers. The event runs from July 20 to 24, aiming to enhance Piedmont's global standing and promote investment opportunities.
Key players like Leonardo, Avio Aero, and Thales Alenia Space are present, alongside workshops focused on innovation and investment. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding with AIAA was signed to facilitate technological collaboration and access to global networks. This strategic engagement aligns with ongoing efforts to enhance the region's competitiveness in the aerospace industry.
