Pilbara Minerals Reports Record Q3 2026 Financials; IGO Faces Operational Challenges
Pilbara Minerals achieved record revenues of 567 million AUD in Q3 2026, marking a 52% increase quarter-over-quarter due to robust lithium production. IGO Limited reported mixed results with a revenue of 120 million AUD, but faced significant operational challenges at Greenbushes and ongoing losses at Kwinana.

Pilbara Minerals Limited (PLS) reported a record revenue of 567 million AUD for Q3 2026, driven by a 52% increase in sales as a result of strong lithium production. The company's operational cash flow margin rose to 461 million AUD, reflecting a 178% increase from the previous quarter.
In contrast, IGO Limited's revenue reached 120 million AUD, a 45% increase attributed to higher volume and prices at its Nova operation, but it faced operational challenges at Greenbushes and continued losses at Kwinana. Pilbara maintains its FY 2026 cost guidance of 560-600 AUD per tonne and plans to restart Ngungaju in July 2025 to enhance production capacity. The lithium market remains robust, influenced by the growth of electric vehicles, although IGO's stock fell by 10.54% due to investor concerns regarding operational difficulties.
