Pilot Fiber to Acquire Extenet Systems' Enterprise Fiber Business, Expanding Network in New Jersey
Pilot Fiber has announced a definitive agreement to acquire the enterprise fiber business of Extenet Systems, LLC, expected to close in Q2 2026. This acquisition will extend Pilot's fiber footprint into New Jersey and add over 20 data centers in the New York metro area. The deal enhances Pilot's capabilities in serving enterprise, carrier, wholesale, and financial services sectors, integrating approximately 200 customers from Extenet's portfolio. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
