Pittsylvania County Approves Land Sale to SAC III Acquisition for Data Center Development

On March 9, 2026, the Danville-Pittsylvania Regional Industrial Facility Authority approved the sale of land at the Southern Virginia Megasite to SAC III Acquisition. The land is located next to Stack Infrastructure, a prominent data center developer.
The cost for the property is $238,000 per acre. A local performance agreement with SAC III Acquisition will be considered in a separate resolution.
