Pivotal is launching a proof-of-concept project in collaboration with Hyde County and Code Blue Resources to establish an emergency medical response model utilizing eVTOL aircraft. Flight-trained paramedics will act as volunteer pilots to deliver advanced medical care directly to emergency scenes.

Hyde County Emergency Services will employ these ultralight vehicles with operational support from Pivotal, which includes vehicle provision and comprehensive flight training. The initiative aims to improve response times for critical care situations and also support law enforcement and emergency management operations. This pilot project will assess the operational framework for using eVTOLs as EMS dispatch vehicles under a Public Aircraft Operation.
