Pivotal Initiates Phase 2 Metallurgical Tests at Horden Lake to Enhance Metal Recoveries
Pivotal is advancing Phase 2 metallurgical testing at its Horden Lake project, aiming to boost recoveries of nickel and precious metals. Enhanced recoveries will improve project economics and attract potential financing options, crucial for development in a competitive market.

Pivotal has commenced Phase 2 metallurgical testwork at Horden Lake, which it wholly owns, targeting increased recoveries of nickel, gold, silver, platinum, and palladium to enhance project economics. The current resource stands at 37 million tonnes at 1.1% copper equivalent, with considerable recoveries reported in Phase 1, including copper recoveries of 87-94%.
Results from this phase are expected by the end of Q2, contributing to further engineering and economic studies. The advantages of the Horden Lake site include proximity to infrastructure and favorable hydro power.
Improved by-product recoveries may facilitate financing options and strategic partnerships. Additionally, Pivotal is exploring other areas in Quebec, seeking further resource development.
