Pokrovsk Mining to Increase Manganese Concentrate Production to 220,000 Tonnes by 2026
PrJSC Pokrovsk Mining plans to increase manganese concentrate production by 3.44 times in 2026, targeting 220,000 tonnes. In 2025, the plant produced 63,900 tonnes valued at UAH 342.138 million, selling 25,400 tonnes for UAH 216.309 million.
The company aims to diversify its sales by exporting to markets such as Switzerland and Georgia, in addition to serving its main clients, JSC ZFP and JSC NFP. Operations at Chykalivka Quarry No. 2 are set to begin in March 2026, utilizing rotor complexes and walking excavators for ore extraction.
The Northern Quarry will also commence operations in April 2026. The production goal will be met through ore from both quarries, and the company is exploring new technologies for manganese ore mining.
