In January, the Porsgrunn Municipality announced Polar's interest in the Heroya Industrial Park. Concurrently, Otterlei Group plans a data center in Lindesnes, utilizing existing structures and waste heat for agricultural applications.
Other developments include Arcem's proposed 130MW data center in Bergen and a 50MW project in Moss. The increasing investment in data centers across Norway reflects a growing demand for AI and HPC workloads.
