Policloud, a French AI cloud startup, plans to deploy 1,000 micro-data centers by 2030, with a target of 100 systems in 2026, representing over 25,000 GPUs. Currently, the company has eight installations across France, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the US, accounting for contracts of approximately €10.5 million ($12.44 million) and 1,200 GPUs.
Policloud utilizes a modular, waterless-cooled micro data center solution positioned at the Edge, with each unit capable of housing up to 400 GPUs. The company has raised €7.5 million ($8.8 million) in seed funding, led by Global Ventures.
