Port Angeles Seaplane Dock Project Advances with New Non-Profit Support
The Port Angeles seaplane dock project has gained momentum with the formation of the Hollywood Beach Seaplane Association. Permitting is progressing smoothly, with construction plans aimed at enhancing local transportation and tourism.

The Port Angeles seaplane dock project is advancing, with the Hollywood Beach Seaplane Association formed to support its development. The dock, designed to withstand local storm conditions, measures 150 feet long and 11 feet wide, with off-site construction ongoing.
The project has obtained land use permits from the city and is awaiting approvals from the Army Corps of Engineers, facing no significant resistance in the permitting process. If successful, this initiative could enhance Port Angeles' transportation options and bolster tourism, similar to established seaplane docks in Seattle and Anchorage.
