Port Favor Terminal in Ust-Luga Reports 3% Increase in Ammonia Transshipment for February 2026

Port Favor terminal in Ust-Luga reported a 3% year-on-year increase in ammonia transshipment, totaling 53,300 tonnes in February 2026. The terminal managed 2,417 tank trucks and three tankers despite difficult ice conditions, including icebreaker escort and diver inspections.
In January 2026, transshipment was down 4.3% at 61,000 tonnes. For 2026, Port Favor plans to double ammonia shipments and export 1 million tonnes of carbamide, with a new technological line expected to boost capacity by Q2 2026. The terminal aims for a design capacity of 14 million tonnes annually by 2028, with significant investment of 80 billion rubles.
