Port of Sunderland has appointed Anth Phinn as Business Development Manager to support client relationships and identify new business opportunities. He will work alongside port director Matthew Hunt and commercial manager Sven Richards.

Phinn's focus will be on diversifying activities in the commodity, circular economy, and offshore energy sectors. Previously, he was UK Agency Manager at Royal Dutch LV Logistics and worked at Clarksons Port Services.

The port has recently strengthened its position as a UK hub for the circular economy and advanced materials handling, focusing on sustainable supply chains. Hunt expressed confidence that Phinn's appointment will enhance the port's commercial strategy.
