Power On Completes Grid Connection and Substation for Stansted North Development
Power On has successfully established a 33kV grid connection and primary substation for the 170-acre Stansted North Site, enhancing the region's commercial infrastructure. This project supports various sectors, including e-commerce and life sciences, while focusing on long-term energy efficiency and sustainability.

Power On has constructed a new 33kV grid connection from UKPN's Bishop's Stortford substation and a 33/11kV primary substation for the Stansted North Site. The site will feature commercial units ranging from 30,000 sq ft to 1,000,000 sq ft, targeting e-commerce, life sciences, technology, and logistics industries.
A strategic energy plan aims to reduce carbon impact through efficient energy practices and low-carbon technologies. This infrastructure supports phased expansion, ensuring adaptability as the site develops. The project showcases Power On's integrated delivery model, combining technical expertise with strategic value, enhancing commercial certainty for stakeholders.
