PowerBank Receives Completion Certificate for Calgary Solar Project
PowerBank Corporation has secured a certificate of final completion for a 1.45 MW DC solar project in Calgary, Alberta. This project, completed under an EPC agreement with Fiera Real Estate, aligns with the growing energy demand in Canada, particularly in Alberta, where the electric grid faces significant load requests.

PowerBank Corporation has announced the receipt of a certificate of final completion for its 1.45 MW DC rooftop solar project in Calgary, Alberta. The project began commercial operation in December 2025, contributing to the Alberta grid under the Small Scale Generation program.
The Alberta Electric System Operator has noted over 20,000 MW in data center load requests, whereas current peak demand is about 12,000 MW, indicating a need for further generation capacity. PowerBank's experience in delivering EPC services, backed by 100 MW of completed projects across Canada and the U.S., positions the company to address the anticipated increase in energy demand. The ongoing energy landscape may require significant system upgrades to accommodate these load requests.
