Prairie Lithium Installs Grid Power at Pad #1 in Saskatchewan
Prairie Limited has begun grid power installation at its Pad #1 facility in Saskatchewan, with SaskPower completing 1.2 km of powerlines. The connection will provide low-cost electricity at approximately $0.05/kWh, enhancing project efficiency and supporting lithium extraction processes. This setup reduces project risks by ensuring stable energy supply, crucial for operations.

Prairie Limited has commenced the installation of grid power infrastructure at its Pad #1 facility in Saskatchewan, Canada. Provincial utility SaskPower has completed the installation of about 1.2 km of powerlines, which took approximately three months from submission to completion.
The grid connection is set to deliver low-cost electricity at around $0.05/kWh, facilitating brine pumping and direct lithium extraction processing. The availability of grid power mitigates project risks by ensuring stable energy for operations, essential for commissioning and commercial production, while leveraging Saskatchewan's established power network.
