Prairie Lithium Installs Grid Power at Pad #1 in Saskatchewan

FLOW CONTROLSTRATEGIC MINERALS

Prairie Limited has commenced the installation of grid power infrastructure at its Pad #1 facility in Saskatchewan, Canada. Provincial utility SaskPower has completed the installation of about 1.2 km of powerlines, which took approximately three months from submission to completion.

The grid connection is set to deliver low-cost electricity at around $0.05/kWh, facilitating brine pumping and direct lithium extraction processing. The availability of grid power mitigates project risks by ensuring stable energy for operations, essential for commissioning and commercial production, while leveraging Saskatchewan's established power network.
