Preah Sihanouk Completes 34 Roads and Advances Wastewater Projects
Preah Sihanouk has completed 34 roads totaling 84 km and is progressing towards a third wastewater treatment facility. This development aims to enhance infrastructure in anticipation of increased tourism and investment post-COVID-19.

The construction of 34 roads in Preah Sihanouk, encompassing 84 km, has been completed at a cost of $294 million. The first wastewater treatment plant, capable of processing 5,200 cubic meters daily, is fully operational, while the second plant is 84% complete with a capacity of 7,200 cubic meters per day.
A third plant is being considered to mitigate wastewater discharge into the sea. Additional infrastructure includes public toilets, 93% completed, and security cameras, with 60% installed. These initiatives support Preah Sihanouk's role as a key economic zone, aiming to attract national and international tourism and investment.
