President Marcos Discusses DAMAC Digital's $3 Billion Investment in Philippines

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met with DAMAC Digital executives in Abu Dhabi to discuss planned investments in the Philippines, including a data center in Laguna with a capacity of up to 250 MW. The meeting included several Cabinet officials and was part of Marcos' two-day visit, which also involved the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
DAMAC Digital, rebranded from EDGNEX Data Centres in June 2025, is investing over $3 billion in Southeast Asia, targeting 250 MW of operational capacity by 2026. Marcos emphasized the Philippines' potential as a digital infrastructure hub.
