President Marcos Discusses DAMAC Digital's $3 Billion Investment in Philippines
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met with DAMAC Digital executives in Abu Dhabi to discuss a $3 billion investment in the Philippines, which includes a data center in Laguna with a capacity of up to 250 MW. The meeting, attended by several Cabinet officials, highlighted the Philippines' potential as a digital infrastructure hub and was part of Marcos' two-day visit that also focused on sustainability and economic partnerships. DAMAC Digital aims to achieve 250 MW of operational capacity by 2026.

The meeting included several Cabinet officials and was part of Marcos' two-day visit, which also involved the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
DAMAC Digital, rebranded from EDGNEX Data Centres in June 2025, is investing over $3 billion in Southeast Asia, targeting 250 MW of operational capacity by 2026. Marcos emphasized the Philippines' potential as a digital infrastructure hub.
