Prime Capital Acquires 85-MW/170-MWh Battery Project in Pyhäsalmi, Finland
Prime Capital AG has purchased an 85-MW/170-MWh battery storage project in Pyhäsalmi, Finland, for €5.5 million. The acquisition from SENS and Dovre Group includes a profit-sharing arrangement until July 2027. The project aims to support Finland's frequency-regulation and electricity-arbitrage markets.

Prime Capital AG acquired an 85-MW/170-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Pyhäsalmi, Finland, for approximately EUR 5.5 million. The deal includes a profit-sharing mechanism through July 2027 and was made with SENS, which sold 55%, and Dovre Group, which sold 45%.
The BESS is intended to enhance grid services, focusing on frequency regulation and electricity arbitrage. Sale proceeds for SENS are expected to be recorded in Q1 2026. This transaction supports SENS's strategy for large-scale battery storage solutions.
