ProCon Group, a subsidiary of IWS Services, has merged with Norwegian company Hyndla AS, combining expertise in electrical outfitting and installation with engineering in low-voltage systems and high-voltage cable management. IWS Services retains 52.5% ownership and 100% of voting shares in the new entity.
The merger aims to industrialize the delivery of infrastructure for offshore wind, including transition pieces and substations, while reducing risks and project timelines for developers. The combined entity is positioned as a key partner in the global offshore wind supply chain. Despite strong Q3 2025 performance in its transition piece business, the companies faced losses in offshore substation services, impacting financials into H1 2026, with expectations of recovery and growth in H2 2026.
