Prodest Launches Cybersecurity Program to Enhance Public Service Protection
Prodest has introduced a Cybersecurity Program aimed at improving asset protection and ensuring public service continuity. The initiative leverages the CIS Controls V8.1 framework for identifying cybersecurity enhancements.

Prodest's new Cybersecurity Program is designed to bolster the protection of digital assets and maintain the continuity of public services. Developed with input from the Information Security and Risk Management Advisory and technical management, the program utilizes the CIS Controls V8.1 framework to identify areas for improvement in cybersecurity practices.
The initiative is supported by the consultancy Every, which assists in the implementation of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). The program aims to evolve cybersecurity measures continuously, addressing threats, especially those enhanced by artificial intelligence. Prodest manages the state's data center and government fiber optic network across 78 municipalities, highlighting the importance of robust cybersecurity governance.
