Project Tango Proposes Data Center in Palm Beach County Amid Community Concerns
Project Tango has revised its data center proposal in Palm Beach County, reducing data processing space to over 1 million sq. ft. and increasing warehouse space to over 2.3 million sq. ft. The county will vote on the project in July, following community opposition regarding environmental and safety concerns.

Project Tango's updated proposal for a data center and warehouse in Palm Beach County includes plans for over 1 million square feet of data processing space and more than 2.3 million square feet of warehouse space. This follows community feedback that led to a postponement of the county vote originally scheduled for December to July.
The project aims to address environmental concerns by implementing a closed-loop cooling system and conducting noise assessments to ensure sound levels remain below 50 decibels. Residents in Arden express worries about impacts on their community, quality of life, and local environment. The county commissioners will ultimately decide on the proposal, which is seen as critical for supporting the region's growing demand for advanced data processing capabilities.
