Tiger Corp Supplies TIVIP Panels for Tokyu Modular Data Center Trial
Tiger Corp has entered the construction sector, providing vacuum insulation panels for Tokyu Group's data center project. This initiative is significant for urban infrastructure as it explores efficient use of limited urban land.

Tiger Corp is supplying its TIVIP vacuum insulation panels for a demonstration project by Tokyu Group, aimed at testing modular data centers beneath railway tracks. Launched in June 2026, this proof-of-concept involves multiple Tokyu entities, including Tokyu Railways and Tokyu Construction, focused on enhancing urban data center infrastructure.
The TIVIP panels, developed from technology used in vacuum bottles, are designed to minimize heat conduction while maintaining a compact form, crucial for optimizing space in densely populated areas. The project seeks to verify temperature stability and cooling efficiency, addressing the significant cooling needs of data centers in urban settings.
