Proposed Data Center Project in Ardmore Withdrawn by Applicant
The applicant for a proposed data center in Ardmore has withdrawn their rezoning request, which was set for a vote on March 16. Community Development Director Jessica Scott stated that the reason for withdrawal is unclear. The planning commission had previously recommended against the proposal, which aimed to rezone seven acres on Third Avenue for a ten-megawatt data center, facing opposition from local residents regarding noise and power concerns.

The applicant for a proposed data center in Ardmore, JRE Strategies, has withdrawn their rezoning request, effectively halting the project. The city commission was scheduled to vote on the proposal on March 16.
