PSH Environmental, founded in 1985 as Parkers Skip Hire, has evolved into a prominent waste management company in the UK. The business, now in its third generation, secured a Norfolk County Council contract, which expanded its operations significantly. PSH has invested in recycling equipment and sustainability initiatives, including the installation of 798 solar panels and a partnership with Norfolk Wildlife Trust. The company recently won the Environmental & Sustainability Award at the EDP Business Awards 2025, highlighting its commitment to sustainable waste management.

PSH Environmental, originally Parkers Skip Hire, has transitioned from a small skip hire business established in 1985 to a nationally recognized waste management company. Founded by Alan Parker and his sons, the company secured a significant Norfolk County Council contract that expanded its operations.
It has developed a state-of-the-art materials recovery facility (MRF) and invested in sustainability measures, including 798 solar panels generating 400kW per hour. PSH has partnered with Norfolk Wildlife Trust to support environmental initiatives. The company received the Environmental & Sustainability Award at the EDP Business Awards 2025, reflecting its commitment to sustainable practices while aiming to lead the waste management sector.
