PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda Achieves 89% Production Target Despite Flooding in Aceh
PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) achieved 89% of its 2025 production target despite significant flooding at its Aceh Utara factory, producing 405,863.79 tons of Urea and other key products. The company emphasized the importance of maintaining production reliability amid challenges and plans to enhance plant safety measures to meet future government targets in 2026.

PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) reported achieving 89% of its production target for 2025, despite severe flooding impacting its factory in Aceh Utara in November 2025. The company produced 405,863.79 tons of Urea (89.20% of the target), 359,321.05 tons of NPK (79.85%), 265,165.57 tons of Ammonia (87.80%), and 5,929.39 tons of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) (84.71%).
PIM's management highlighted the importance of maintaining production reliability and stability in the face of challenges, including flooding that submerged the factory area up to the roof. Looking ahead to 2026, PIM aims to meet government-set production targets by enhancing plant reliability and safety measures.
