A public hearing on a proposed data center at Air Products' former headquarters in Upper Macungie Township will occur on February 25 at 6:30 p.m. The company plans a 2.6 million square foot data center campus at 7300 Cetronia Road, requesting approval for the data center to be considered a 'similar use' within the Light Industrial Zoning District.

The project must meet standards outlined in the zoning ordinance regarding external impacts, similarity to permitted uses, and established general standards. Air Products previously received approval for three warehouses on the site, but those plans did not proceed.
