Puebla Development Hub Secures 80% Business Commitment for Advanced Manufacturing Projects
The Economic Development Hub for Well-Being in San José Chiapa, Puebla, has garnered nearly 80% of its space backed by letters of intent from companies planning productive operations. The hub is focused on advanced manufacturing, electromobility, and sustainability, reflecting a strategic shift towards long-term investments.
State authorities emphasize prioritizing productive activities over speculative development, aiming to generate jobs and strengthen local supply chains. The hub is integrated with a 400-hectare expansion of the Capital of Technology and Sustainability, which includes a planned Circular Economy Park.
Confirmed investments cover electric vehicle production, agroindustrial development, and a flavor design company. San José Chiapa's location offers direct connectivity to Mexico City, positioning it as a competitive logistics hub. Human capital development is supported through over 60 educational courses and participation in national technology projects, including Mexico's first electric vehicle, Olinia, expected to debut in 2026.
