PureCycle Technologies and Toppan are partnering to develop sustainable packaging solutions, starting with a snack bar wrapper containing over 30% recycled content from PureCycle's PureFive resin. This wrapper satisfies snack brand requirements for print quality and functionality while minimizing environmental impact.

The collaboration aims to expand to additional thermoformed applications, such as snack cups and microwaveable containers. PureCycle's process converts post-consumer polypropylene into resin comparable to virgin material, suitable for food-contact uses. This initiative supports the move towards a circular economy in packaging.
