The Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has made its first direct investment in an Italian company, Contents, which specializes in AI workflow orchestration. Contents has completed a $7 million Series B extension, raising total funding to $25 million.

This capital will support the company's expansion in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), establishing Doha as its operational hub. Contents generates over 500,000 AI outputs monthly and targets integration into enterprise processes.

The investment aligns with Qatar's National Vision 2030, aiming to diversify its economy and enhance digital infrastructure. The GCC data center market is projected to grow significantly, with AI investments expected to exceed $100 billion by 2030.
