Qatar Expands Science and Technology Education for Girls
Qatar's Ministry of Education is expanding its specialized education programs by introducing the Qatar Science and Technology School for Girls, targeting STEM fields. This initiative aligns with the country's vision for a knowledge-based economy and aims to nurture future female leaders in technology and science.

The Qatar Science and Technology School for Girls aims to select 100 students from 402 applicants for the 2026-2027 academic year, marking a significant step in STEM education for females. This initiative is part of a national project to develop qualified professionals in science and technology fields.
The school will feature advanced learning facilities, including specialized labs in robotics and renewable energy, and follow the Next Generation Science Standards and Advanced Placement curricula. Admission criteria include a minimum of 80% in core subjects and successful completion of various assessments. The initiative supports Qatar National Vision 2030 by promoting human capital investment and equal educational opportunities.
