QCi Deploys Dirac-3 Quantum Optimization Machine on Quantum Corridor Network
The placement of the QCi Dirac-3 quantum optimization machine on the Quantum Corridor network enhances secure access for institutions and businesses. This development follows a successful implementation of Quantum Key Distribution technology, marking a significant advancement in quantum computing capabilities in North America.

Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) has installed its Dirac-3 quantum optimization machine at the Digital Crossroad Data Center in Hammond, Indiana, on the Quantum Corridor network. This marks the first commercial installation of a Dirac-3 machine, offering secure, on-demand access to clients through Quantum Corridor's existing service framework.
The network, which spans from Chicago to Hammond, boasts a capacity of 40 terabits per second and a round-trip latency of 0.274 milliseconds. The partnership is expected to enhance market reach for QCi's technology among academic and enterprise users, positioning both companies to leverage quantum solutions for complex optimization challenges. The expansion of quantum infrastructure may significantly impact industries reliant on advanced computational capabilities in the Midwest.
