QTS has acquired approximately 1,700 acres in Salem Township, Pennsylvania, for over $500 million, marking one of the largest land deals for data centers in the U.S. The planned development may include 12 to 17 data centers, with construction expected to begin in fall 2026, aiming to address the increasing demand for digital infrastructure and provide economic benefits to the local community. The project has received approval from township supervisors, and compensation has been provided to landowners.

QTS has completed the acquisition of about 1,700 acres in Salem Township, Pennsylvania, from 96 landowners for over $500 million, representing one of the largest coordinated land deals for data centers in the U.S. The planned development may include 12 to 17 data centers near the Amazon project and the Salem Nuclear Power Plant.
