Quaker Houghton Opens Manufacturing Facility in China
Quaker Houghton has launched a new manufacturing plant in Zhangjiagang, China, enhancing its production capacity in the Asia-Pacific region. This facility will produce pressure casting and grease products to support various industries, including steel and automotive.

Quaker Houghton (NYSE: KWR) has inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Zhangjiagang, China. This site will augment production capabilities for pressure casting and grease products, addressing sectors such as steel, aluminum, automotive, beverage can production, mining, and wind energy.
The company has also expanded its laboratory in Shanghai earlier in June, which includes testing and development capabilities. Quaker Houghton, valued at $2.69 billion, reported a revenue of $1.93 billion over the past year, with a 36% return.
The new investments reflect the strategic importance of the Asia-Pacific region for the company's growth. Local production enhancements may lead to greater innovation and responsiveness to regional demand.
