Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon Receives 15% Pay Increase Despite 45% Drop in Net Income
Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon received a 15% pay increase to $29.7 million in fiscal 2025, despite the company's net income plummeting 45% to $5.5 billion due to a significant non-cash tax charge. While Qualcomm's revenues rose 14% to $44.3 billion, Amon highlighted growth opportunities in the automotive chip market and plans for expansion into datacenter technologies, with substantial revenue anticipated by 2027.

Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon's compensation rose to $29.7 million in fiscal 2025, up from $25.91 million, despite a 45% decline in net income to $5.5 billion. Amon's pay included a $1.35 million base salary, $24.16 million in stock awards, and $3.19 million in non-equity incentives.
Qualcomm reported full-year revenues of $44.3 billion, a 14% increase, but the profit drop was attributed to a significant non-cash tax charge due to US tax law changes. Other executives also received substantial pay, with CFO Akash Palkhiwala earning $13.14 million, and EVP Alexander Rogers receiving $9.7 million.
Amon noted growth opportunities in the automotive chip market and plans to expand into datacenter technologies, although he indicated material revenues from datacenters are not expected until 2027. Qualcomm anticipates supplying 75% of processors for Samsung's Galaxy S26.
