Quebec Nickel Acquires Ecru Project in Nevada
Quebec Nickel Corp. has finalized the acquisition of the Ecru Property in Nevada, effective April 10, 2026. This strategic move positions the company within a premier gold mining district, enabling it to leverage its expertise for exploration and development.

Quebec Nickel Corp. has completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Ecru Property from Orogen Royalties Inc., closing on April 10, 2026. The transaction involved a cash payment of $250,000 and the issuance of 1,000,000 common shares to Orogen, subject to resale restrictions until August 11, 2026.
The Ecru Property, consisting of 112 mining claims, is strategically located near the Cortez/Battle Mountain Trend, an area known for significant gold deposits. Future plans include a technical review and exploration strategy to evaluate potential mineralization, which has shown promise based on previous geophysical and geochemical work.
The company also plans to change its name to Aurbis Resources Corp. following this acquisition. The impact of this acquisition could enhance Quebec Nickel's position in the gold sector and attract further investment.
