Questcorp Mining Inc. has selected Peter W. Walcott and Associates Limited to conduct a 10 to 15 line km induced polarization (IP) survey at its North Island Copper project near Port Hardy, British Columbia.
The survey will focus on the Marisa Zone, a historical porphyry copper target last explored in the 1990s, where previous drilling showed promising copper values. The 2026 IP survey aims to enhance coverage and integrate historic data to identify new drilling targets. Walcott is expected to mobilize to the site in mid-February, with the survey's completion anticipated by the end of February.
