Rackla Metals Inc. has received a 5-year Type A Land Use Permit for the Lentung project, enabling a 2026 exploration program. This includes a 49-person camp, 4,000 m of diamond drilling, and 6,000 m of reverse circulation drilling, set to begin on May 26, 2026.

Rackla Metals Inc. has obtained a 5-year Type A Land Use Permit from the Sahtu Land and Water Board for the Lentung project, facilitating extensive exploration activities scheduled to start on May 26, 2026. The project, located in the Tombstone Tungsten Belt of the Northwest Territories, will involve establishing a 49-person camp, conducting 4,000 m of diamond drilling, and 6,000 m of reverse circulation drilling.
This follows a historical exploration phase by Union Carbide from 1977 to 1982, which included significant drilling and various assessments. The proximity to the Cantung mine, which ceased operations in 2015, indicates potential for revitalized tungsten mining in the region, particularly with rising global demand for critical minerals. Continued engagement with local communities, including the Sahtu Dene First Nation, aims to ensure that the exploration aligns with regional priorities and creates long-term benefits.
