Raeden Submits Plans for Data Center in Gibraltar, Michigan

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Raeden has submitted plans to develop an inference data center at 27800 W. Jefferson Ave., Gibraltar, Michigan, on the site of a former steel plant. The facility is expected to use 200 to 500 gallons of water per day for a closed-loop cooling system and require 100 megawatts of power from DTE Energy.

The Gibraltar Planning Commission will review the proposal for compliance with zoning ordinances, as the data center is considered a 'use by right.' An informational meeting for the project will be held on March 11 at the Gil Talbert Community Center.
