Rai and Rai Way will develop a hyperscale data center in Pomezia, Italy, with investments estimated at up to €400 million. The project aims to strengthen digital infrastructure and promote technological sovereignty in the country.

The facility will be powered entirely by renewable energy and will span around 140,000 square meters, featuring four independent buildings each with 1,000 square meters of data hall space. Initial capacity will be 4-5 megawatts, with plans to expand to 35 megawatts.
