The facility employs solid oxide electrolyzers, which are more efficient and durable than traditional options, resulting in lower hydrogen costs.

This installation is the first in agriculture to use solid oxide electrolyzers and ranks as the third largest operational globally. It addresses regional grid congestion and offers a model for other agricultural businesses in Noord-Holland Noord, contributing to local energy solutions and economic growth.
