Rajasthan Governor Bagade Highlights Development Progress and Future Initiatives in Assembly Address
Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kishanrao Bagade reported significant development progress in the state during his address to the Legislative Assembly, asserting that Rajasthan is advancing towards becoming a developed state. He noted the government's initiatives, including the Logistics Policy, Data Center Policy, AI Policy, and Apparel and Trend Promotion Policy, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and empowering various societal groups.
The state has scheduled key recruitment examinations for nearly 100,000 vacancies and has completed recruitment for over 100,000 positions in the last two years, with an additional 150,000 posts in progress. Bagade also highlighted Rajasthan's achievements in sports, securing 60 medals, including 24 golds, at the Khelo India National Games.
The state attracted investment proposals of ₹35 lakh crore during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investors Summit 2024, with ₹8 lakh crore already in the groundbreaking phase. Major projects in energy and water resources are underway, including the Rajasthan Refinery in Pachpadra.
