Rajasthan to Present Pugal Battery Storage Park to Solar CEOs at Bharat Renewable Expo
Rajasthan will present its Pugal Solar Park, featuring a capacity of 2,450 MW and 6,400 MWh of battery storage, to 50 CEOs from leading solar companies at the Bharat Renewable Expo. The initiative, supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, aims to attract investments and enhance renewable energy utilization during peak hours. The event will also showcase innovations in the sector and engage over 1,000 students in a renewable Olympiad for job placements.

Rajasthan is set to showcase its Pugal Solar Park, featuring 2,450 MW generation capacity and 6,400 MWh battery storage, to 50 CEOs of leading solar firms at the Bharat Renewable Expo. The expo begins on Friday and aims to attract investments into the state's large-scale battery storage project.
Senior government officials will highlight the project's significance in mitigating curtailment risks and enhancing the utilization of renewable energy during peak hours. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and organized by the Rajasthan Solar Association.
The event will also present innovations from domestic and international renewable energy companies, alongside government schemes like PM Suryaghar and Kusum. Additionally, a renewable Olympiad will engage over 1,000 students from 35 technical institutions for job placements with leading firms.
