President Cyril Ramaphosa, during oversight visits in the Eastern Cape, urged municipalities to improve service delivery and governance. His delegation assessed the Fishwater Flats Wastewater Treatment Works and various housing projects, highlighting a R126 million investment in the Booysens Park township that benefits 21,000 households.
In Namibia, progress in education and infrastructure has been reported, with the establishment of seven new secondary schools, though challenges like classroom shortages persist. A bulk water pipeline project and desalination plants are planned to address water issues. Ongoing monitoring will ensure alignment with service delivery commitments.
