Rancho Cordova Partners with Niantic Spatial to Develop Digital Twin for AI Applications
The City of Rancho Cordova and HMCI collaborate with Niantic Spatial to create a digital twin, enhancing urban planning through precise simulations. This initiative marks a significant advancement in the local AI and robotics ecosystem.

Rancho Cordova has initiated a partnership with Niantic Spatial to develop a digital twin of the city, leveraging advanced Physical AI technology. The project aims to create a detailed 3D model of a four-square-kilometer area, which will facilitate traffic simulations and city planning.
Niantic Spatial has already completed the initial phase of capturing drone footage and reconstructing the area accurately. HMCI will utilize this model for real-time scenario testing, enabling data-driven decision-making for urban development.
This collaboration enhances the city's AI and robotics ecosystem, providing a practical environment for technology innovation and real-world applications. The successful implementation of this digital twin could lead to improved urban management strategies and set a precedent for future smart city initiatives.
